[ENG] On Tuesday, February 18, the Law School of the University of A Coruña hosted a lecture on anti-money laundering policies, organised by the ECRIM in cooperation with the Criminology School of the University of Porto (Portugal). The lecture was given by Anthony Amicelle, professor of Criminology of the Universitè de Montreal (Canada) within the framework of the master’s degree program on Corporate Law of the University of A Coruña (MAXE). In his talk, named ‘Strategies and contradictions in the fight against money-laundering‘, the French scholar examined the different actors involved in anti-money laundering practices and policies, their different interests and the contradictions and misundertandings on which these policies are grounded.
