[ENG] On Friday 25 April the Law School of the University of A Coruna hosted a lecture on “The harmonisation of substantive criminal law in the EU: between the recent past and the near future“, organised by the ECRIM. The lecture was given by Dr. Pedro Caeiro, Associate Professor of Criminal Law of the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and member of the board of the European Criminal Law Network (ECLAN), and was part of the Master’s degree on EU Law (MUE) of the University of A Coruna. The Portuguese scholar examined in his lecture the evolution of the harmonisation of substantive criminal law at the EU level over the last decades, and reflected on the current limits and challenges of the process aimed at shaping an EU criminal law.
