[ENG] On Thursday, April 23rd, the School of Law of the University of A Coruna will host a lecture on US Crimmigration policies, given by Professor Nancy Wonders and organised by both the ECRIM and ESOMI research groups.
Nancy Wonders is Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northern Arizona University (USA), and a highly acknowledged scholar in the realm of critical Criminology. Her scholarship has been mainly focused on feminist Criminology, global Criminology and migration control policies. In regard to this latter field of study, she will be lecturing in A Coruna on ‘Global Inequalities, New Frontiers of Harm, and the Borders of (In)Justice‘. Her lecture will examine the current countours of US Crimmigration policies, comparing them with the recent evolution of EU and Spanish Crimmigration policies.
The lecture is included within the courses on migration control policies (MS Degree on International Migrations) and EU penal policies (MS Degree on EU Law).
